We will discuss the ideas that are simmering below the surface of this movement and how they apply to your daily development. Continuous Integration is a fantastic first step into the Alt.NET mentality. The tools are simple, cheap and the return is tremendous. We will look at the use of CCNet and nAnt in combination with unit testing to increase the speed of your feedback cycle and ultimately increase the quality of your code. As part of this we will look at techniques for writing good unit tests and creating soluble test code.
