Bruce Johnson, ObjectSharp Consulting www.objectsharp.com There is no question that Silverlight is one of the hottest technologies out of Microsoft in quite a while. But as it is with most hyped products, there are elements of truth and not-so-truth to the marketing story. In this presentation, we take a closer look at Silverlight. We will talk not only about what is currently available but also what is expected in the next release. But most of all, we will look at some of the capabilities and drawbacks of using Silverlight and the appropriate Expression products. This includes an evaluation of some of the demo applications, and the creation of a simple Silverlight application.
